Alex Faris is the hero of the shitpost-turned shonen battle school setting Gakuen Fantasia: Yuusha no CLASS. He’s a 15 year old trans boy, a blacksmith’s child who took a magic hammer from his bolthole in a ruin and got noticed defending his village from a moster attack by the wizard Alvis Levin. Now with a powerful patron paying his way and tutoring him in elemental and life magic, he’s attending the Adventurer’s Academy in the heart of the Five Kingdoms, doing his damndest to catch up the the calvacade of princes and princesses who’ve the cash, connections, and cultivated talent to ensure a place in the Academy.
